RCS Commercial Moving & Warehousing Proudly Supports the 2026 Special Olympics Virginia Summer Games

At RCS Commercial Moving & Warehousing, we understand that successful events require more than just planning - they require the right team behind the scenes to make everything come together!

That is why we were honored to serve as the Premier Moving Partner for the 2026 Special Olympics Virginia Summer Games, held at the University of Richmond. As a proud partner of Special Olympics Virginia, our team provided logistics and event support to help ensure athletes, coaches, volunteers, and spectators could focus on what mattered most: competition, achievement, and community.

Supporting Success Behind the Scenes

Throughout Summer Games weekend, the RCS team provided comprehensive logistics support, assisting with the loading, unloading, transportation, setup, and breakdown of equipment and materials used throughout the event. These behind-the-scenes efforts play a critical role in helping one of Virginia's largest annual sporting events run smoothly.

As a company built on planning, coordination, and execution, we were proud to apply our expertise to support an organization whose mission creates opportunities for athletes of all abilities to compete, grow, and thrive.

Going Beyond Logistics

Our involvement didn't stop when the trucks were unloaded.

Several members of the RCS team also volunteered their time during the event, assisting with Track & Field and Tennis competitions throughout Summer Games weekend. From helping athletes navigate events to supporting competition operations, our employees were grateful for the opportunity to contribute directly to the athlete experience.

Watching the determination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm displayed by the athletes served as a powerful reminder of the impact Special Olympics Virginia has across the Commonwealth.
